We help companies innovate products and services from bottom up through innovative attitudes and actions in the course of a process. Our challenge is to help companies find right arguments for innovation and to conduce them in the “make-happen” process.


ABOUT US:

Founded in 1994 in Italy, VRD RESEARCH is a consulting firm offering services in the area of Strategic Design and Innovation, which conceives products and services through people-oriented processes involving key company players and a multicultural network. In Brazil since 2006, it promotes innovation as a company culture with wide repercussion in brand, products and services.


SHORT HISTORY:

VRD RESEARCH started back in 1994 as Vassallo Rossi Design (VRD), and changed its name in 2003 when it became a partnership.
The company was founded by Alessandro Vassallo-Rossi, who is still active as designer and company’s Managing Director.

Between 1995 and 1998, Vassallo Rossi Design, operated in partnership with EADC (Enthoven Associates Design Consultants) as EADC Italia.
Since 1998 the company decided to become an independent consultancy, with the purpose of moving strongly into Design Research and Design Driven Innovation.
In 2003, new partner Luz Romero brought to this idea a new vision, and since then she is the Strategy & Research director.

The collaboration between Alessandro and Luz, lead to a unique vision and challenge: VRD Research works only on projects using creative human-centered research, and create products and services to help companies of any sizes and sectors, as well as governmental, social and educational entities, to innovate their activities, defining concrete actions and developing strategies.


VISION:

DESIGN IS A QUESTION OF PROCESS, A WAY OF THINKING THAT RESULTS IN FASCINATING OBJECTS AND SOLUTIONS. A PROCESS THAT TODAY IS REINVENTING THE WAY THINGS ARE CONCEIVED, BROADENING THE VIEW OF MARKETS AND RANGE OF POSSIBILITIES, FOCUSING ON PEOPLE, IMPARTING NEW VALUES TO INNOVATION.
